[mo]re than a run Official Cooldown!

Free to all race participants of '[mo]than a run'!!!!

Join us for the [mo]re than a run Official Cool Down to give some much needed TLC to your body and mind after the excitement and effort of the morning’s run + month of fundraising for Movember!!! You are all amazing!!

The class will be led by Lululemon ambassador/studio co-owner/race participant Tom Brotherstone. Supported by Lululemon, this will be a restorative session of light stretching and myofascial release targeting those running-related muscles, joints & connective tissues! It’ll be accessible to all-levels and designed to down-regulate the body’s nervous system so you can get amongst the rest of your day feeling refreshed and energised!

So come on up to get your stretch on with the wider Wellington running community (including Team AWHI!), share your favourite race day moments and maybe ALSO be in to win a few cheeky spot prizes, too!

Session Details

Who it’s for: Any [mo]re than a run race participant! You do not need to be an existing member of the studio to attend this session - haere mai!

When: Saturday, 30th November, 1:30-2:30pm - come to the studio straight after your team completes the [mo]re than a run race!

Where: AWHI Yoga & Wellbeing, Level 2, 15 Johnston Street, Wellington CBD (between Featherston & Customhouse Quay)

Cost: FREE!

What’s ‘[mo]re than a run’?

Powered by lululemon, [mo]re than a run brings the local running community together to fundraise for the Movember Foundation, a charity that supports groundbreaking men’s health initiatives in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

To be part of the action you just need to 1) Join a team and 2) decide which one of three challenges you'll do at your local [mo]re than a run event: a 10km, 30km or 60km run!

Don’t have a team? No worries, we’ve got one for you! Join Team AWHI, which will be running the 10k race as a group on Saturday, 30th November…and be sure to celebrate your accomplishment by joining us for the Official Cooldown afterwards!

How to Join Team AWHI

1). Go to the AWHI Team Page here and click “Join This Team”

2). Create an account to sign up!

3) Look out for an email from us about race day specifics

4) Find Team AWHI on the day, run the race with us and join us for the Official Cooldown afterwards!
