Workshop Details
Many of us relate to being a “people pleaser”. It’s easy to say “yes” and then feel resentful. And it’s equally hard to say “no” without feeling guilty.
The Art of Saying No workshop gives a framework of what to do before, during and after a difficult conversation. It gives you practical tools, including checklists and real-world scripts that help you formulate the words to use in challenging situations.
There is also the opportunity to do role-plays so that you can practise the art of saying no in real life, whether it’s to the barista who served you the wrong coffee, to a friend who has asked you for a favour or to your boss who is putting too much on your plate.
Using mindfulness and movement, along with thinking and talking, this workshop is for people who want to feel more confident and grounded when communicating their needs to others.
Handouts (including 'cheat sheets') are included. You're welcome to bring a pen and a journal if you wish.
