You can forget that you are the bliss because of the mind. The mind can get stuck playing in past memories or future imaginations. Whenever you are in the present, there are no tricks of the mind. Yoga nidra is a powerful technique that directly works to heal your mind by removing samskaras, untying knots and impressions. This practice of learning to relax consciously is great for treating stress and this has the ability to change the fluctuations of the mind. Experience this yogic self transformation and enter into a state of potentiality.
This is a workshop for everyone! All levels of experience are welcome. Bring an open mind, comfortable clothes, a journal and a yoga mat. An eye mask and a thin blanket is suggested for yoga nidra.

About the Facilitator
Satvika Iyer (they/them) is delighted to offer this workshop for their community in Pōneke. Satvika has completed 200hr YTT certification at AWHI in Vinyasa yoga, and will soon be completing a 400hr Yoga Wellness Instructor course which covers Hatha Yoga, philosophy, meditation and pranayama. They have also completed meditation teacher training (Kundalini yoga) with Dr. Omanand Guruji in India under the Guru-Shishya tradition. With a focus on stilling the mind through intentional breath and flowing movement, Satvika’s classes are an inclusive space where you can feel comfortable in your truth.
