Yoga Teacher Training
Our Yoga Alliance accredited 200hr YTT is a comprehensive journey into becoming a certified yoga teacher — or for anyone looking to go deeper into their practice. Structured around the five pillars of Te Whare Tapa Whā, it is a uniquely Aotearoa experience that honours both yoga tradition and Māori wisdom.
All bodies and experience levels welcome but a basic vinyasa knowledge recommended (approximately 6 months of practice).

Kathleen Kuehn

RYT 500 · Co-owner & Lead Facilitator
500-ERYT with certifications in vinyasa, yin, yoga nidra, level-one Pilates, and Hot HIIT Pilates. PhD in Media & Communications with nearly two decades of tertiary teaching experience. Known for her sharp wit and playful approach, Kathleen creates an environment where deep self-inquiry and genuine laughter coexist — because growth doesn't have to be serious.
Tom Brotherstone

E-RYT 500 · Co-owner & Lead Facilitator
500-ERYT with training completed in Rishikesh, India. Over a decade teaching yin and vinyasa. Tom brings an easeful, approachable facilitation style with warmth and humour that puts students immediately at ease. His classes weave yoga philosophy throughout, grounding movement in meaning.
Murray Hemi

RYT 200 · Trauma Specialist
Psychotherapist and trauma specialist with training from the Yoga Education in Prison Trust and Hakomi Institute. Strong mātauranga Māori background. Current practice focuses on men's relationship coaching and group facilitation.
Hana Buchanan

200hr YTT Supporting Facilitator
Hana (Taranaki iwi, Te Ātiawa, Taranaki Whānui ki te Upoko o te Ika) brings 25+ years of yoga practice and a deep emphasis on mātauranga Māori and the synergies between yoga and Māori ways of knowing and being.
Satvika Iyer

200hr YTT Supporting Facilitator
200-CYT Vinyasa, 100-hour Yin, and 400-hour Hatha training in India, with additional Kundalini and Aerial certifications. Satvika brings a rich, multidisciplinary perspective to the training.
