The Art & Anatomy of Yin
Two 50-hour modules, independently certified or combined for 100 continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance.
A thorough study of stillness
Yin yoga is a practice of patient attention. Unlike vinyasa, which works through dynamic movement, Yin works through sustained stillness — holding postures for extended periods to target the connective tissues: fascia, ligaments, tendons, and bones. It is a practice that changes the nervous system as much as the body.
Our 50/100hr Yin YTT is structured across two 50-hour modules. Module 1 is open to all — no teaching certification required. Module 2 requires at least 20 hours of prior Yin practice or teacher training.

Meet the team
Tom Brotherstone
Tom (he/him) completed 500hr YTT in Rishikesh, India and has been teaching Yin and Vinyasa for over a decade. As co-owner of AWHI, his focus is now on building community through both practices, providing a supportive platform for the growth and self-discovery of others. Tom is an expert facilitator, and his facilitation style is easeful and approachable, with just the right amount of humour. When not at yoga, you can find Tom teaching or competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Rosie Sievers
Rosie has spent over 10 years facilitating Yin and Vinyasa yoga, teacher trainings, retreats and group spaces, driven by a fascination with how bodies move, feel and heal. As a craniosacral and massage therapist, she brings a practitioner's understanding of the body into her teaching, bridging science and embodied wisdom. She loves teaching and exploring movement and anatomy through felt sense, helping students discover how nothing in the body works in isolation, and how our inner world is always in relationship with the world around us. Her aim is to help people grow comfort and confidence in their own skin, and to trust their body's natural intelligence.
