Yoga Nidra Meditation
Unwind from the stresses of the week and start your weekend in a state of deep relaxation — your hinengaro, tinana and wairua restored.
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a deeply restorative practice that promotes physical relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional balance. It's the perfect way to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul.
Yoga nidra is a powerful technique that directly works to heal your mind by removing samskaras — untying knots and mental impressions. This practice of learning to relax consciously is well regarded as an antidote for stress, anxiety, and poor sleep.

Things to consider
Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is required. For some people, Yoga Nidra's prolonged stillness or internal focus can bring up strong emotions, memories, or sensations. You are encouraged to listen and respond in a way that feels safe for you — adjusting your position, keeping your eyes open, grounding yourself, or stepping out of the room at any time. Yoga Nidra may not be suitable for everyone. If you are experiencing acute mental health challenges, unprocessed trauma, or conditions that make stillness or internal focus difficult, we recommend seeking guidance from a qualified healthcare provider or speaking with the teacher before participating.
