Prenatal Yoga
A foundational training for teaching pregnant students — covering everything from trimester anatomy to birth-supportive movement and trauma-aware cueing.
This three-day intensive provides foundational preparation for teaching pregnant students in public yoga classes. Whether you're an existing teacher looking to work more confidently with pregnant students, or working towards the AWHI 300hr certification, this module gives you a grounded, practical base.

A note on certification
This module provides base-level preparation for teaching pregnant students — it does not constitute a full prenatal yoga certification. It can be taken as a standalone workshop or counted towards the AWHI Yoga School's 300-hour Vinyasa Certification, or as 15 hours of Continuing Education with Yoga Alliance.
Counts towards the AWHI 300hr pathway or as 15 CE credits with Yoga Alliance.

Marcelly Ribeiro
Marcelly Ribeiro (she/her; they/them) is a Brazilian-born yoga teacher and dancer based in Aotearoa New Zealand for the past 10 years. She holds a degree in Physical Education, 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings, and certifications in Childbirth Education, Doula support, and Active Birth. Her teaching blends alignment-based yoga with the fluidity and expression of dance, reflecting her belief that both practices are powerful tools for connection, presence, and self-awareness. Specialising in prenatal yoga, Marcelly integrates asana, pranayama, and birth education to support women in preparing their bodies and minds for labour.
