October Read: Breath (by James Nestor)

We talk about the breath a lot around here. This month, we’re getting curious about what the science has to say about it.

We’re reading Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art by James Nestor, a deep dive into how the way we breathe can affect our sleep, stress, health and wellbeing.

It’s part science, part history, part slightly wild experiment — and there’s plenty in there to agree with, question, try out, or bring to the group.

Finished the book? Great. Halfway through? Also great. Read a few chapters and got distracted by life? Very much welcome.

Come along for a relaxed chat about what surprised us, what we’re sceptical about, and whether the book changes anything about the way we think about breathing — on or off the mat.

No pressure. No homework guilt. Just good conversation.
